I kinda agree on the making the bed thing. I only make the bed because my dog will sleep on it during the day, and occasionally she has some dirt or other gunk from running around outside. I don't make The Boy make his bed, or clean his room that much either. As a 16 year old, the only thing I am looking for is for clean clothes to be put away, dirty clothes to be in the laundry basket, and a fairly clean path to his bed so when I wake him up in the morning, I don't break my neck getting to his bed.
Although - with the addition of The Girlfriend, his room gets cleaned up without my nudging at least once every two weeks, if not more often (depending on whose house they hang out at!)

Dear Mtnbikingmamma:
Thanks for stopping by! I think your advice is correct - with field trips in my future I might finally have to put my head down and clean my car on a more regular basis. Or just make my husband do it.
